In this issue we report the delivery of an A320-200 to Jetstar Asia, an A320-200 to Jetstar Pacific and a Dash 8-400NG to QantasLink, while departing was a 767-300ER of Qantas, two 737-400s of Jetstar Pacific and an A320-200 of Jetstar Asia.
Qantas withdrew 767-336ER VH-ZXB from service on December 1 after the aircraft operated QF452 from Melbourne to Sydney. VH-ZXB, which was one of seven ex-British Airways Rolls Royce-powered 767-336ERs to be operated by Qantas, was the first to be withdrawn from service. The Qantas titles and kangaroo were removed from VH-ZXB before it ferried out of Sydney on December 11 as QF6025 for Honolulu and Roswell, New Mexico.
