Traffic

767-338ER VH-ZXB was delivered to Qantas in Sydney on November 16 ’00 after the aircraft ferried in from London/Heathrow via Bangkok as QF7634. VH-ZXB entered service with Qantas on November 19 ’00 when it operated QF433 from Sydney to Melbourne.

767-336ER VH-ZXA was withdrawn from service on January 30 after the aircraft operated QF492 from Melbourne to Sydney. VH-ZXA was planned to ferry from Sydney to Roswell, New Mexico for storage by mid-February.

A380-842 VH-OQH ferried from Hong Kong to Manila as QF6011 on December 22 and on arrival entered the Lufthansa Technik hangar for cabin refurbishment. With the refurbishment completed VH-OQH ferried to Hong Kong as QF6016 on January 31 and returned to service that evening as QF128 from Hong Kong to Sydney.

A380-842 VH-OQI, which had been in the Lufthansa Technik hangar at Manila for cabin refurbishment since November 25 ferried to Hong Kong as QF6016 on December 22 and returned to service that evening as QF128 from Hong Kong to Sydney.

A380-842 VH-OQJ ferried from Hong Kong to Manila as QF6011 on January 31 and on arrival entered the Lufthansa Technik hangar for cabin refurbishment.

747-438 VH-OJH was cancelled from the register on November 20 as ‘sold for parts’. VH-OJH was withdrawn from Qantas service on September 4 ’12 and departed Sydney on October 3 on ferry to Marana, Arizona (Traffic/November).

Qantas registered 737-838 VH-XZD 39368 on January 25 with the aircraft planned for delivery in April. Also registered on January 25 were 737-838 VH-XZE 39369, 737-838 VH-XZF 39370 and 737-838 VH-XZG 39371.

737-476 VH-TJX, which had been in maintenance at Avalon since October 15 (Traffic/January) ferried from Avalon to Melbourne as QF6101 on December 14. VH-TJX returned to service later that day when it operated QF620 from Melbourne to Brisbane.

QantasLink took delivery of DHC-8-402NG C-GSZD msn 4431 in Cairns on January 30 with the aircraft ferrying in from Narita, Saipan and Port Moresby as BBA01. QantasLink announced an order for a further three DHC-8-402NG and a further five 717-200 on January 18.

Jetstar resumed direct services between Melbourne and Honolulu on December 15 with A330-202 VH-EBR operating the inaugural JQ001/002 Melbourne-Honolulu-Melbourne.

A320-232 VH-VFL 5489, which was registered on January 25 is planned for delivery in March.

Jetstar Asia took delivery of A320-232 9V-JSR 5433 in Singapore on January 16 after the aircraft ferried in from Toulouse via Abu Dhabi/Al Bateen.

A320-232 9V-JSG ex VH-JQE has terminated its lease with the aircraft returning to AWAS. 9V-JSG was test flown from Seletar on January 15 and was then registered EI-EZG before departing on January 28 for Male, Muscat and Sophia (arrive January 29).

A320-232 9V-JSS 5472 which will be the first in the Jetstar Asia fleet to be fitted with sharklets was planned for delivery in February.

A320-232 9V-JST 5482 is planned for delivery in March.

Jetstar Japan is planning to add A320-232 JA08JJ 5492 and A320-232 JA09JJ 5499 to their fleet.

Jetstar Pacific took delivery of A320-232 VN-A557 in mid-December with the aircraft departing Dublin for Cairo on December 14 (Traffic/January).

737-4Q8 VN-A192 has terminated its lease and on December 21 ferried into St Athan, UK from Cairo and Budapest where it was placed in storage.

737-436 VN-A194 has also terminated its lease and on January 14 it ferried into St Athan from Cairo and Budapest where it was placed in storage.

Airline News

In this issue we report the delivery of a 737-800 to Air Niugini, A319-100 to Skytraders, two Dash 8-400s to Air Niugini and an ATR 72-600 to Air New Zealand Link/Mount Cook Airline while removed from operation were a 737-300 of Air New Zealand and a 737-300 of Airwork Flight Operations.

Air New Zealand withdrew 737-3U3 ZK-NGE from service on January 10 after the aircraft operated NZ557 from Auckland to Christchurch.

Air New Zealand Link/Mount Cook took delivery of ATR 72-600 ZK-MVB in Christchurch on December 30 after the aircraft ferried in from Toulouse. The ferry, which was contracted to Southern Cross Aviation, operated as SXI 1288 via Alexandria, Al Ain, Nagpur, Penang, Seletar, Koepang and Brisbane. The ATR 72-600 used its French test registration F-WKVB on the sectors between Toulouse to Brisbane before it was changed to ZK-MVB for the final leg from Brisbane to Christchurch. ZK-MVB is the first aircraft in the Air New Zealand fleet to carry the new corporate colour scheme and entered service on January 12 when it operated NZ5351 from Christchurch to Dunedin.

ATR 72-600 ZK-MVC was planned for delivery to ANZ Link/Mount Cook in March.

Air Niugini took delivery of 737-86Q P2-PXC in Port Moresby on December 21 after the aircraft ferried in from Budapest via Muscat and Kuala Lumpur as PX6395. 737-86Q P2-PXC which is the first of its type in the Air Niugini fleet entered service on January 18 when it operated PX084 from Port Moresby to Honiara and Nauru.

Dash 8-402 P2-PXQ 4033 was delivered to Air Niugini in Port Moresby on December 21 after the aircraft ferried in from Cairns as PX6091. P2-PXQ, which was ferried by Worldwide Aircraft Ferrying, had earlier departed Sault Ste Marie in Ontario, Canada for Cairns where it arrived on December 19 via Yellowknife, Nome, Petropavlovsk, Sendai, Saipan and Biak. P2-PXQ entered service on December 27 when it operated PX960 from Port Moresby to Goroka.

Dash 8-402 P2-PXR 4038 was delivered to Air Niugini in Port Moresby on January 7 after the aircraft ferried in Sault Ste Marie via Yellowknife, Nome, Petropavlovsk, Sendai and Saipan as PX6011. P2-PXR entered service with Air Niugini on January 12 when it operated PX7186 from Port Moresby to Mount Hagen.

Dash 8-402 P2-PXP 4022 was planned for delivery to Air Niugini in late February.

Dash 8-103 P2-ANL, which ferried from Port Moresby to Cairns on October 28 for maintenance with Hawker Pacific returned to Port Moresby on January 10 as PX609.

P2-ANL, which was previously operated by Air Niugini as a freighter, was converted back to passenger carrying operations while in Cairns and on January 12 it returned to service when it operated PX812 from Port Moresby to Lihir Island.

Air Pacific terminated its wet lease of euroAtlantic 777-21212ER CS-TFM on December 13 after the aircraft operated FJ 810 from Nadi to Los Angeles. 777-219ER CS-TFM then ferried from Los Angeles to Lisbon as FJ 2810 on December 15.

With the late return of 747-412 DQ-FJK from maintenance in Singapore (Traffic/January) Air Pacific then wet leased 747-446 N465MC from Atlas Air and on December 13 it entered service as FJ 811 from Los Angeles to Nadi (arrive December 15). 747-446 N465MC operated its last flight for Air Pacific on December 22 as FJ 930 from Melbourne to Nadi and the same day ferried from Nadi to Houston as FJ 1810.

747-412 DQ-FJK returned to Nadi from Singapore as FJ 2224 on December 20 on completion of its planned maintenance.

A330-243 DQ-FJT 1394, which will carry the colours of Fiji Airways, is planned for delivery in March.

Airwork took delivery of 737-3Q8 ZK-TLB in Auckland on October 6 (Traffic/November), however the aircraft was purchased only as a source of spares. ZK-TLB was noted at Auckland in early December being parted-out and on December 21 it was cancelled from the register as ‘withdrawn’.

Skytraders took delivery of A319-132LR VH-VCJ ‘Snowdrop 2’ at Melbourne on December 20 after ferrying in from Shannon, Ireland via Heraklion, Abu Dhabi, Colombo and Port Hedland. VH-VCJ was delivered in an all white colour scheme, however during pre-service maintenance in Melbourne it was painted with a thin blue cheet line and blue winglets while the Australian flag was added to its tail. VH-VCJ entered service with Skytraders on January 6/7 when it operated a charter from Melbourne via ports to Christmas Island and return.

Tasman Cargo Airlines ferried its 757-236PCF G-CSVS as TMN4P out of Auckland to Darwin on December 23 and after over-nighting it continued to Guangzhou for planned maintenance. The 757-236PCF returned to Auckland on January 13 from Guangzhou and Darwin.

Toll Priority, which operates 737-3B7F ZK-TLA on lease from Airwork, ferried the aircraft to Auckland for maintenance on May 11 ’12 (Traffic/July). ZK-TLA, which now carries a revised Toll colour scheme was test flown at Auckland on January 12 and should have returned to night freight operations in Australia by the time this is read.

Fokker 70/100 Fleet Movements

The Fokker 70/100 fleet in Australia continues to grow as the mining industry demands more capacity from operators such as Alliance, Network, Skippers and Skywest. In this issue we report the delivery of a Fokker 100 to Network Aviation and two Fokker 70s to Alliance Airlines.

Fokker 70 YR-KMB 11565 was delivered to Alliance Airlines in Brisbane on January 19 after the aircraft arrived from Timisora via Trabzon, Al Ain, Ahmedabad, Chittagong, Penang, Denpasar, Darwin and Townsville. The Fokker 70, which was previously operated by Carpatair, carried their full colour scheme for the delivery flight.

YR-KMB changed its flight number several times on the ferry flight however it arrived in Brisbane from Townsville as KRP5109. The Fokker 70 was later registered to Alliance as VH-QQV.

Fokker 70 HP-1732PST 11545, which was previously operated by Air Panama was delivered to Alliance in Brisbane on January 27 The ferry flight which was contracted to Southern Cross Aviation was operated as SXI 1303 from Panama City via Nassau, Halifax, Keflavik, Luxembourg, Trabzon, Al Ain, Nagpur, Penang and Kupang. The Fokker 70 was later registered to Alliance as VH-JFE.

Fokker 70 YR-KMC 11569, which was previously operated by Carpatair, was planned for delivery to Alliance in Brisbane in mid February with the aircraft later to be registered VH-QQW.

Fokker 70 HP-1731PST msn 11521, which was previously operated by Air Panama, was planned for delivery to Alliance in Brisbane in late February with the aircraft later to be registered VH-JFB.

Fokker 70 VH-QQR was delivered to Alliance in Brisbane on November 18 (Traffic/January) and entered service on January 7 when it operated QQ990 from Brisbane to Townsville.

Fokker 50 VH-FKO, which was delivered to Alliance in Adelaide on July 29 ’12, entered service on December 13 when it operated QQ4521 from Adelaide to Port Augusta.

Fokker 100 VH-NHF 11458 was delivered to Network Aviation in Perth on January 19.

The ferry flight from Woensdrecht was contracted to Southern Cross Aviation as SXI 1305 with flight operating via Trabzon, Al Ain, Nagpur, Penang and Halim.

Fokker 100 VH-NHI 11479 was planned for delivery to Network in late February.

Fokker 100 VH-NHM entered service on December 4 when it operated QF1690 from Perth to Christmas Creek.

Fokker 100 VH-NQE, which was damaged in a heavy landing at Nifty on October 19, departed to Port Hedland and Seletar on December 15 and there the aircraft entered the Fokker Services hangar for further repairs. The ferry flight was operated by Southern Cross Aviation as SXI 1287. .

Fokker 100 VH-NHG departed Perth on January 25 as NOA5234 for Port Hedland, Denpasar and Seletar where the aircraft commenced a period of planned maintenance.

Fokker 100 PH-LXG 11420 has reportedly been sourced by Skippers Aviation as its first Fokker 100 aircraft with delivery planned in late February. Fokker 100 PH-LXG msn 11420 was ferried from Maastricht to Bratislava on January 15 for painting in the Skippers colours.

Fokker 100 VH-FSQ of Skywest ferried from Perth to Port Hedland and Seletar for planned maintenance on December 26 and the following day Fokker 100 VH-FNY which had been in Seletar for maintenance was ferried to Port Hedland and Perth.

Virgin Australia Fleet Update.

In this issue we report the delivery of an ATR 72-600.

ATR 72-600 VH-FVR Yallingup Beach was delivered to Perth on January 7 after the aircraft arrived from Toulouse via Alexandria, Al Ain, Nagpur, Penang and Halim. The ferry flight was operated by Southern Cross Aviation as SXI1302.

ATR 72-600 VH-FVQ Christies Beach which was delivered to Perth on December 3 (Traffic/January) remained there until January 24 when it ferried to Kalgoorlie and Brisbane as VA926A

On December 17 Virgin Australia changed the registered operator of 737-8FE VH-YIE, -YIF, -YIG, -YIH, -YIJ, -YIL, -YIM, -YIO, -YIQ and –YIR to Virgin Australia International Airlines.

A330-243 VH-XFG 1407 is planned for delivery to Virgin Australia in April.

Regional Airline News

In this issue we report the delivery of a Saab 340B to Corporate Air and a DHC-6-300FP to Unknown Destination Services, while departing was a BN-2B-20 of Orient Pacfic Coast Air.

Air Rarotonga ferried its Saab 340B E5-EFS into Nelson on January 14 for planned maintenance operating from Raratonga, Tonga and Auckland as SC1722.

Air Wakaya Cessna 208B DQ-DHG was damaged by cyclone Evan while parked at Nadi on December 17.

Bayswater Road is planning to take delivery of Reims F406 PZ-TSF 406-0033 in February.

Brindabella Airlines was reportedly planning to take delivery of the first of four Jetstream 41 aircraft from South Africa in mid-February.
Chartair took delivery of Cessna 402C V5-VAC at Darwin on November 19 (Traffic/January) and later registered the Cessna 402C VH-OVU on December 11.

Corporate Air/Vee H Aviation took delivery of Saab 340B VH-VEP 340B-377 at Goulburn on December 10 after the aircraft ferried in from Merced, California via Hilo, Majuro and the Gold Coast. The ferry flight, which originated in Rome/New York, was operated by DBF Aviation Services of Sydney.

Orient Pacific Coast Air has sold BN-2B-20 VH-ZZU in Indonesia as PK-FLY with the aircraft cancelled from the register on December 19.

Unknown Destination Services of Southport, Queensland registered DHC-6-300FP VH-AQU 557 on December 14. The floatplane Twin Otter which was last operated by Aviastar as PK-BRR ferried into Bankstown on January 4 from Denpasar via Darwin, Tennent Creek, Birdsville and Bourke.

Vincent Aviation ferried Saab 340B ZK-VAB into Wellington as VIN 341 on January 11 for planned maintenance with the aircraft routed from Darwin via Mount Isa, Brisbane and Norfolk Island.

Bizjet News

In this issue we report the delivery of a Global Express and Falcon 7X while departing was a Falcon 900EX and a Falcon 2000LX.

Global Express N185GX msn 9185, which was sold to AVWest P/L on September 21 ’12, was delivered to Perth from Dubai/Al Maktoum in the early hours of December 14.

Falcon 7X VH-MQK msn 183, which was registered to MKAir7Xof Newcastle, NSW on January 25, arrived in Sydney from Kahului on January 26. The Falcon 7X replaced a previously-operated Falcon 900EX and is the first of its type on the Australian register.

MK Air Falcon 900EX VH-MQR was cancelled from the register on January 11 as ‘exported to the United States’ and the same day was registered N6VF to the VF Corporation of Greensboro, North Carolina. Falcon 900EX VH-MQR had earlier departed Sydney for Nadi and the United States on December 11.

Falcon 900EX VH-MQK, which was registered to MK Air on May 12’12, was delivered to Bankstown on May 26. The Falcon 900EX later changed its registration from VH-MQK to VH-MQR on November 10.

Network Jets Falcon 2000EX N818BH departed Auckland for Maui on November 10 and onwards to the mainland United States where it will reportedly be sold .The Falcon 2000EX had a short-lived stay in New Zealand as it was only delivered on September 27 ’12.

Holypeak Global Express VH-VLA was cancelled from the register on December 17 as ‘exported to the United States’ and on December 18 it was noted at Essendon carrying the markings N360HP.

Singapore Flying College Learjet 45 VH-SQD, which flew from Maroochydore to Sydney on November 27 (Traffic/January), continued to Adelaide and Jandakot on January 15.

Singapore Flying College Learjet 45 VH-SQM is now all white and was test flown from Maroochydore on February 1 after being static there for many months.

Phenom 100 VH-FJP changed its registered operator on January 1 to Revesco Aviation P/L of Belmont, WA
Cessna 550 VH-EJY changed its registered operator on December 16 to Corporate Aircraft Charter of Adelaide.

Corporate Aircraft Charter changed the registration of Cessna 560 VH-MXJ to VH-OHE on December 4.

King Air Fleet Update

Careflight NT commenced a new contract in the Northern Territory on January 1.

King Air B200 VH-ZCO ‘Careflight 28’ was delivered to Darwin on December 19 from Albion Park via Longreach and Gove and there it joined King Air B200 VH-ZCJ ‘Careflight 25’, King Air B200 VH-ZCI ‘Careflight 26’ and King Air B200 VH-ZCN ‘Careflight 28’. Of the previously operated Careflight fleet King Air B200 VH-ZCY ‘Careflight 21’ and King Air B200 VH-ZXM ‘Careflight 23’ have continued in service however King Air B200 VH-ZMQ ‘Careflight 22’ and King Air B200 VH-ZCX ‘Careflight 24’ have been parked at Darwin since December 23 and December 13 respectively.

Careflight Cessna 441 VH-JLT was noted parked at Darwin on January 12 with its titles removed.

RFDS/South Eastern King Air B200 VH-MVP, which is based at Essendon had its Ambulance Service of NSW titles removed on January 7 while RFDS/South Eastern King Air B200 VH-MVS, which is also based at Essendon had its Ambulance Service of NSW titles removed by January 21.

RFDS/South Eastern King Air B200 VH-MWV, which carries Ambulance Service of NSW titles, arrived at Essendon from Sydney on December 20 and was still parked there as of January 31.

King Air B200 VH-LQR BB-1054 was registered to Formula Aircraft P/L of Jandakot on January 8 and on January 23 the King Air B200 which was previously operated by the Royal New Zealand Air Force as NZ1881 crossed the Tasman from Hamilton to Auckland, Lord Howe Island and Sydney.

King Air B200 N818PF BB-1059, which was delivered to Jandakot on November 15 (Traffic/January), was registered VH-NGL to Navi Group WA P/L, of Welshpool, Western Australia on November 21.

Austreck Aviation King Air B200 VH-PWK changed its registration to VH-WXO on December 19.

Other propjet news in this period concerns the following aircraft.

PC-12/47E VH-MDH 1370, which was registered to MDH P/L of Cloncurry on December , was delivered to Devoncourt Station near Cloncurry on December 22 with the aircraft arriving from Chiang Rai via Subang, Denpasar and Darwin.

PC-12/47E N9401S arrived at Jandakot on January 28 from Halim, Broome, Newman and Meekatharra.

PC-12 VH-NWI changed its owner on December 24 to Silver Road Holdings P/L of Kew, Victoria and on January 20 it arrived at Essendon from Jandakot and Adelaide.

TBM-700 VH-CZM was cancelled from the register on November 21 when sold in the United States. The TBM-700, which was then registered N80NE to Pro Star Pilatus Center of Londonderry, New Hampshire on November 26, departed Jandakot for Port Hedland and Halim on January 21.

Merlin 111C N90GT TT-534, which spent many years based at Essendon, was delivered to Jandakot from Denpasar and Broome on January 9. Merlin 111C VH-ZGX TT535 ex N90GT was registered to Casair P/L of Canning Vale, WA on January 21.

Gulfstreams Galore

Warner Communication Gulfstream 550 N79RP arrived in Melbourne from Queenstown on December 3 and later visited Ayers Rock and Hamilton Island before departing Brisbane for Honolulu on December 11.

G550 Aviation Gulfstream 550 N253DV operated a return flight from Queenstown to Melbourne on December 11.

Texlas Gulfstream 550 N415P arrived at the Gold Coast from Honolulu on December 28 before continuing to Sydney on January 2 and Melbourne on January 4. N415P departed Melbourne for Honolulu in the early hours of January 6.

Warbler Gulfstream V N505D arrived in Melbourne from Halim on December 18 and after over-nighting departed for the Gold Coast and Essendon. N505D remained at Essendon until January 4 when it departed for the Gold Coast before continuing to Honolulu on January 6.

Coca Cola Gulfstream 550 N674RW arrived in Sydney from Gimpo on January 31 and departed the same day to Honolulu.

JP Morgan Chase Bank Gulfstream 550 N780E departed Canberra for Sydney on January 11.

Metrojet Gulfstream 550 B-KHJ arrived in Sydney from Penang on December 28 and departed to Singapore on January 4.

Metrojet Gulfstream 550 B-KID departed Hamilton Island for Townsville and Hong Kong on December 26.

Barrick Gold Gulfstream 550 C-GBGC arrived in Perth from Doha on January 21 before continuing to Sydney on January 23.

Gulfstream V N85V arrived in Brisbane from Chiang Rai on January 11 and departed to Papeete on January 13.

Pegasus Leasing Gulfstream V N525AC arrived at Hamilton Island from Queenstown and Sydney on December 29. N525AC departed for Sydney on December 31 before continuing to Papeete on December 2.

Challenger Management Gulfstream V N760CC arrived in Sydney from Honolulu on January 18. The aircraft was later noted at Narrandera and Emerald before it departed Sydney for Honolulu on January 23.

Fredex Gulfstream IV N4FL arrived in Sydney from Nadi on December 1 before continuing to Melbourne on December 4. N4FL departed Melbourne for Sydney on December 4 and after over-nighting continued to Nadi.

Gulfstream IV N101CV arrived in Brisbane from Port Vila on December 9 and departed to Papeete on December 15.

PMC Global Gulfstream IV N168PK arrived in Melbourne from Taipei and Darwin on December 17 and departed to Noumea on December 19.

Pegasus Aviation Gulfstream IV N726RW PEG26 arrived in Perth from Seletar on December 5. N726RW was later noted at Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney before departing Brisbane for Pago Pago on December 19.

Las Vegas Sands Corporation Gulfstream IV N988LS arrived in Brisbane from Singapore on January 14.

Bahrain Royal Flight Gulfstream IV A9C-BAH BAH4 arrived in Sydney from Denpasar on December 16. A9C-BAH remained in Sydney until December 29 when it departed to Singapore.

Gulfstream IV VP-CLI arrived in Cairns from Hong Kong on December 25. The following day VP-CLI operated a return flight to the Gold Coast before departing Cairns for Hong Kong on December 28.

Gulfstream 200 N125JF arrived in Cairns from Pago Pago and Nadi on December 27 before continuing to Essendon on December 29.

N125JF departed Essendon for Sydney on December 31 and Sydney for Raratonga on January 3.

Wing and a Prayer Global Express N17GX arrived in Melbourne from Male on January 17 before continuing to Canberra on January 21.

Bank of America Global Express N624BP arrived in Brisbane from Honolulu on December 13 and after over-nighting returned to Honolulu.

MC Group Global Express N704MF arrived in Canberra from Honolulu on December 7 and after over-nighting returned to Honolulu.

Minsheng Financial Leasing Global Express B-8101 arrived in Sydney from Hong Kong on December 22 before continuing the same day to Melbourne. B-8101 returned to Sydney on December 24 before departing for Shanghai on December 29.

Skyservice Business Aviation Global Express C-GHSW arrived in Sydney from Kahului on December 9 and later returned to Sydney from Yogyakarta on January 12.

Global Jet Luxembourg Global Express LX-GEX arrived in Sydney from Phuket on December 11 and departed for Queenstown on December 16.

TAG Aviation Asia Global Express VP-CLY TBJ23 arrived in Brisbane from Shanghai and Cairns on December 23 before departing to Incheon on December 26.

Tag Aviation Asia Global 5000 B-LIM TBJ06 arrived in Sydney from Hong Kong on January before continuing to Adelaide on January 7 and Melbourne on January 9. B-LIM departed Melbourne for Hong Kong on January 11.

Nomad Aviation Global 5000 HB-JFB arrived in Adelaide from Chennai on January 5 and after over-nighting departed for Seletar.

Capital Airlines China Challenger 605 B-7768 CBJ172 arrived in Melbourne from Manado on January 24 and after over-nighting continued to Sydney.

Swiss Air Ambulance Challenger 604 HB-JRA SAZ243 arrived in Townsville from Bandar Seri Begawan on December 31 before departing for Newcastle, Port Hedland and Colombo on January 2.

Swiss Air Ambulance Challenger 604 HB-JRB SAZ354 departed Sydney for the Gold Coast, Broome and Colombo on January 29.

Soper Marc Trustee Challenger 601/3R N639TS departed Canberra for Invercargill on December 16.

Perimeter Road Services Falcon 900EX N88ND EJM88 arrived in Sydney in the early hours of December 24 from Seletar via Darwin and Ayers Rock and departed for Kona on December 29.

EHC Holdings Falcon 900EX N311JA arrived in Brisbane on December 10 and remained there until January 1 when it departed for Sydney. N311JA departed Sydney for Brisbane and Honolulu on January 2.

Cat Aviation Falcon 7X HB-JOB transitted Perth on December 16 while en-route from Lanseria to Sydney. On December 18 the Falcon 7X which was operating as CAZ901 departed for Melbourne and Brisbane. HB-JOB departed Brisbane for Colombo on December 19.

Red Bull Falcon 900EX OE-IDM transitted Darwin on December 4 while en-route from Hua Hin, Thailand to Laucala Island, Fiji.

S C Johnson and Sons Falcon 900 N910JW arrived in Brisbane from Darwin on December 1 and after over-nighting continued to Sydney.

910JW departed Sydney for Auckland on December 5.

GMR Aviation Falcon 2000EX VT-VLN, which was travelling in company with GMR Aviation Falcon 2000LX VT-BRK, arrived in Cairns from Singapore on December 21 before continuing to the Gold Coast on December 26. VT-VLN and VT-BRK departed the Gold Coast for Darwin and Singapore on January 2.

Silver Ventures Falcon 50EX N195SV arrived in Sydney from Queenstown on January 31.

H R Initiatives Legacy 600 N818HR arrived at Essendon from Majuro and Brisbane on January 23.

Ferry Flights

Cessna 208B N208RL 208B0865, which was ferried by Air Center One, arrived at Timaru on December 12 after crossing the Pacific from Merced/California via Hilo, Pago Pago and Christchurch. The Cessna 208B was later registered ZK-NZO to Skydive Queenstown on December 20.

Cessna 208B N308TC 208B2045, in company with Cessna 208B N309TC 208B2050, were delivered to Adelaide on December 14 after crossing the Pacific from Merced via Honolulu, Majuro and Townsville. The aircraft were registered on January 3 to Acena Nominees of Adelaide as VH-TYH and VH-TYQ respectively.

Cessna 208B N307TC 208B0789 was delivered to Redcliffe on December 31 with the aircraft ferrying in from Merced via Hilo, Pago Pago and the Gold Coast. Flight time from Merced to the Gold Coast was just under 44 hours. The Cessna 208B was registered VH-TLZ to Partridge Nominees P/L of Adelaide on January 17.

Colville Aviation Services Cessna U206F VH-EFI, which was on delivery to an operator in the Philippines departed Darwin for Denpasar on December 6.

Canterbury Aviation Cessna U206F ZK-TFW departed Kerikeri on January 23 for Norfolk Island where it over-nighted before continuing to Nadi.

DHC-6-300 N162DE, which is registered to Rampart Aviation of Franklinton, North Carolina and is fitted with a MAD boom, was noted at Darwin on January 13.

Baron G58 N347HB TH-2347, in company with Baron G58 N5008G TH-2353, were delivered to Hawker Pacific at Bankstown on January 12. The aircraft, which were ferried by Windward Aviation, crossed the Pacific from Santa Maria/California via Hilo, Pago Pago and the Gold Coast. N5008G was registered VH-WGU to Wolff Aviation P/L of Toowoomba on January 16.

PAC 750XL ZK-KCE msn 185 departed Hamilton on December 19 for Lord Howe Island and Albury where it remained until December 30 when it departed for Alice Springs and Broome. The PAC-750XL which was ferried by SRD Aviation departed Broome for Cocos Island on December 31 and after over-nighting continued to Colombo. The PAC-750XL, which is fitted with a sky-diving door, was on delivery to Hinton Skydivers in the UK and this was reflected in the ownership of the aircraft which was changed on January 8 to Hinton Skydiving Centre of Hinton, Northants.

Kiwi Air PAC 750XL ZK-SWA, which is fitted with a MAD boom, arrived in Auckland on December 16 after ferrying in from Denpasar, Broome, Mount Isa, Port Macquarie and Lord Howe Island.

Westside Aerial Services PAC 750XL VH-KZC arrived in Denpasar on December 12 after ferrying in from Jandakot and Broome.

PA-31-350 N53CD arrived at the Gold Coast on December 21 after crossing the Pacific from Santa Maria, California via Hilo, Pago Pago and Norfolk Island. After clearing customs N53CD continued to Ballina where it was later registered VH-OIH to Plane Three P/L of Coolangatta on January 14.

PA-31-350 VH-RDA departed the Gold Coast on January 11 for Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island and Tanna. On January 22 VH-RDA was cancelled from the register as ‘exported to Vanuatu’

PA-23-250 N435WB arrived at the Gold Coast on January 29 after completing its Pacific crossing from Hollister, California via Hilo, Pago Pago and Norfolk Island.

Tecnam P2002 ZK-SRG departed Kerikeri for Norfolk Island and Lord Howe Island on December 10 and after over-nighting continued to Port Macquarie.

Gulf Air A320-214 A9C-AO GFA8602 arrived in Perth from Singapore on December 5 and departed the same day to Singapore.

Antonov Airlines An-124 UR-82008 departed Brisbane for Darwin as ASY125 on December 12 and after over-nighting continued to Batam, Indonesia. UR-82008 returned to Brisbane from Singapore on January 7 as ADB2332 and departed on January 10 as ASY101 for Darwin and Batam.

Antonov Airlines An-124 UR-82009 ADB2334 arrived in Brisbane ex U-Tapao on January 22. The following day UR-82009 as ASY102 departed for Darwin and after over-nighting it continued to Batam.

Antonov Airlines An-124 UR-82072 ADB2330 arrived in Brisbane from U-Tapao on December 27. The following day UR-82072 as ASY126 departed for Darwin where it over-nighted before continuing to Batam.

Meridian Avia An-12BP UR-CGV UKL4079 arrived in Melbourne from Denpasar on January 12 and the same day returned to Denpasar as UKL4079.

Atlas Air 747-481 N263SG GTI2436 arrived in Sydney from Los Angeles on December 28 and onboard was a group who were to welcome in the New Year twice.

On December 31 as GTI2436, N263SG ferried empty to Canberra where it waited for its passengers who had seen in the New Year in Sydney. N263SG then operated GTI2435 to Las Vegas where the group again welcomed in the New Year.

Starflight Express 737-7JR/BBJ N92SR arrived at Port Hedland from Phuket on January 18 before continuing to Christmas Creek and Karratha. The following day N92SR departed for Port Hedland and Colombo.

Sands Casino Corporation 737-35B N789LS arrived in Melbourne from Denpasar on December 10 and departed for Darwin on December 15.

Lynden Air Cargo PNG Lockheed L-382G P2-LAC LYC1227 arrived in Brisbane from Suva on December 20 and departed for Port Moresby on December 22 as LYC1228

Lynden Air Cargo Lockheed L-382G N404LC LYC1213 arrived in Brisbane from Lae on December 17 and over the following 10 days operated a number of charters to Honiara and Nauru.

Safair Lockheed 382G ZS-RSC call sign Safair 520 arrived in Brisbane from Christchurch on December 12 before continuing to Darwin and Kuala Lumpar (arrive December 13). ZS-RSC, which had been based in Christchurch since October 17 in support of the Italian expedition to the Antarctic, operated its final service from Pegasus Field to Christchurch on December 8.
