The day Australian aviation came together
December 12 2012 was an important day in Australian aviation. Six national aviation organisations released a range of aviation policies that targeted key areas of aviation needs. For once it was not the industry responding in an uncoordinated way to government ideas, but the industry charting its own course.
All the policies have been carefully considered and hopefully will give rise to considerable debate and even more importantly, action. This has come to pass because of the important but unheralded work of the Australian Aviation Associations’ Forum, known in the industry as simply the Forum.
