Established operators took delivery of two aircraft with Palmer Aviation of Brisbane adding Citation X VP-CFP to join MD-82 VP-CBH and MD-82 VP-CBI while Revesco Aviation of Cloisters Square, WA added Gulfstream IV VH-TXS to join Chal-lenger 600 VH-ZSU and Cita-tion II VH-INT.

Mention should also be made of AVWest Aircraft which continues to buy and sell Global Express aircraft. In this period AVWest imported Global 5000 N900TR, Global Express M-ATAR and Global Express M-BTAR, however, before the period ended both the Global 5000 N900TR and Global Express M-ATAR had found new owners.

Three bizjets were imported to replace aircraft sold over-seas, these being by Ramsay Aircharter of St Leonards, NSW with Falcon 2000LX VH-RAM to replace Hawker 850XP VH-PNF; Network Jets of Auckland with Falcon 2000EX N818BH to replace Citation Sovereign ZK-JTH and Linfox Global Charter of Melbourne with Global Ex-press with VH-LEP to replace Global 5000 VH-LEP.

Deliveries

Bizjet delivery numbers to our region in the period under review retained their momen-tum with 21 arrivals. Although slightly down on the previ-ous 12 months this compares favourably with deliveries from 2007 to 2011 which were 33, 24, 14, 29 and 24 respectively.

Two new types in our listing that have been registered in Australia are Challenger 605 VH-LVH and Falcon 20F-5 VH-PNY.

Global 5000 N900TR was delivered to AVWest Aircraft in Perth on November 3 ’11.

Premier 1A VH-TGQ was registered to Easternwell Logis-tics of Brisbane on November 8 ’11. The Premier had earlier been delivered to Toowoomba as N3205W on October 28 ’11 so its arrival was mentioned in our 2011 Directory.

Citation X VP-CFP was delivered to Palmer Aviation in Brisbane on November 12 ’11.

Westwind II VH-IER, which was registered to Heavee P/L of Albion Park Rail, NSW on April 13, had earlier been delivered to Wollongong/Albion Park as N14CN on November 20 ’11.

Hawker 850XP VH-BMW, which was registered to Burbank Air Services of Altona, Victoria on January 11, had earlier been delivered to Melbourne/Essendon as M-RACE on December 3 ’12.

Falcon 20F-5 VH-PNY, which was registered to Resijet of Beaconsfield, NSW on De-cember 12 ’11, was delivered to Bankstown on January 24.

Citation Mustang VH-KXM, which was registered to Gulf Coast Aviation of Patterson Lakes, Victoria on January 3, was delivered to Sydney/Bankstown on January 24.

Citation CJ1 VH-TFW, which was registered to Acena Nominees of Adelaide on January 14, was delivered to Adelaide on January 18.

Citation Mustang VH-KJG, which was registered to M & G Hopkins Sales of Arncliffe, NSW on February 3, was delivered to Bankstown on February 23.

Global Express M-ATAR was delivered to AVWest Air-craft in Perth on February 20.

Citation CJ2 VH-IYG, which was registered to T & R Pastoral of Murray Bridge, South Australia on April 20, was delivered to Essendon on April 26.

Global Express M-BTAR, which was registered to AVWest Aircraft of Cottesloe, WA on May 12, was delivered to Perth on May 20.

Falcon 2000LX VH-RAM was registered to Ramsay Air-charter of St Leonards, NSW on June 5, but it was Octo-ber 24 before the aircraft was delivered to Australia.

Citation III N692BE, which was registered to Aussie Air of Ottawa, Kansas on June 8, was delivered to Camden, NSW on July 12.

Citation II VH-FYP, which was registered to Hope Estate Events of Pokolbin, NSW on July 6, had earlier been delivered to Bankstown as N550CA on June 13.

Challenger 605 VH-LVH was registered to Cape York Airlines of Stratford, Queens-land on June 29. Challenger 605 VH-LVH made its first appearance in Australia on August 17 when it arrived at Perth from Seletar.

Challenger 604 VH-VSZ, which was registered to Nonah P/L of Hunters Hill, NSW on July 11, was delivered to Sydney on September 15.

Gulfstream IV VH-TXS, which was registered to Revesco Aviation of Cloisters Square, WA on July 13, made its first appearance in Australia on August 13 when it arrived at Essendon from Noumea.

Gulfstream IV N141CP was delivered to Sutherland Avia-tion in Brisbane on August 11.

Citation III N163JM, which was delivered to Ardmore on August 22, will remain on the US register while resident in NZ. The Citation III is being operated by Corporate Flight services out of Paraparaumu.

Falcon 2000EX N818BH was delivered to Network Jets in Auckland on September 27 and while resident in NZ will remain on the US register.

Global Express VH-LEP, which was registered to Linfox Global Charter of Melbourne on October 9, was delivered to Essendon on October 20.

Departures

In the period under review 10 bizjets either departed our region or were removed from the register. Departure num-bers for the five year period 2007 through 2011 were seven, eight, five, eight and 10.

Air National Corporate Gulfstream 200 ZK-RGB departed Auckland for Apia and the US on November 13 ’11. On December 9 ’11 it was cancelled from the NZ reg-ister prior to being registered N818TS on December 13 ’11.

Vela Fishing Gulfstream 200 N533GA was sold in the US and on March 4 departed its Hamilton base for Auck-land. The Gulfstream then continued on March 6 to the Gold Coast, Port Hedland and Cocos Island and onwards to Savannah, Georgia.

AVWest Aircraft Global 5000 N900TR was sold to TAG Aviation Asia and on April 1 it departed Perth for Seletar as TBJ31. The Global had a short stay in Australia having only been delivered to AVWest on November 3 ’11.

Best Western Group Phenom 100 VH-YYT was cancelled from the register on April 5 on its sale in the US.

Network Jets Citation Sovereign ZK-JTH departed Auckland for Apia and Maui on May 2 and onwards sale in the US. ZK-JTH was can-celled from the NZ register on May 18 with the aircraft reverting to its previous US registration of N121TL.

Linfox Global 5000 VH-LEP was cancelled from the register on June 1 as ‘exported to Aruba’. Earlier on May 8 VH-LEP departed its Essendon base for Cocos Island and Dubai where the aircraft was prepared for delivery to Jordan-based Arab Wings as P4-PIF.

Pacific Jets Citation Mus-tang ZK-PGA departed Auckland for Bankstown via ports on June 19 and remained there until June 28 when it departed for the US via Europe. ZK-PGA was cancelled from the NZ register on July 16 and on July 20 it was registered to Cessna Aircraft as N533VP.

Jet Explorer International Learjet 60 VH-THG depart-ed Sydney for Port Moresby and sale in the US on July 7 ’11. It was June 22 ’12 before it was cancelled from the Aus-tralian register and later placed on the US register on June 27 as N352XR.

Hawker 850XP VH-PNF of Ramsay Aircharter was cancelled from the register on September 14 as ‘sold overseas’. The Hawker was then regis-tered N230PA before depart-ing Sydney on September 28 for Pago Pago and the US.

Learjet 36A VH-CMS of Careflight (Queensland), which departed the Gold Coast on September 29 for Apia and onwards to North America, was cancelled from the register on October 8 as ‘sold in Canada’.

Citation II VH-EUV of Erudgere Vineyards of Mudgee was cancelled from the reg-ister on September 13 on its transfer to operations in PNG. Later registered P2-EUV the Citation II is now operated by Pacific Jets PNG.

Gulfstream IV N141CP to N450TL for Sutherland Aviation while aircraft was in Cairns in late October.

Updates

Learjet 24D N174RD, which is resident at Camden, was cancelled from the US civil register on August 19 ’10 as ‘exported to Australia’ but it has yet to appear on the Australian register.

Global Express VH-ZXH was registered to AVWest of Cottesloe, WA on October 19 ’10 but the aircraft has still not been delivered to Australia.

Acernus Aero Citation Mustang ZK-MOT departed Auckland for Lord Howe Is-land on April 11 on the first leg of its ferry flight to Sarasota, Florida where it was stored while awaiting a buyer.

Citation I VH-EGK, which changed its registration from VH-EMM on March 16 ’07, is parked at Essendon and still carries the marks VH-EMM.
