Perth noise pains

Three years ago this magazine, through this writer, warned that the noise issues around Perth Airport need addressing and would only grow as traffic increased.

Nothing has been done despite repeated warnings from this magazine via radio, television and in print, and now Perth with 40 per cent growth over the past five years, faces the prospect of a curfew which will severely damage the state’s economy and disrupt the mining industry.
