Emirates boss backs new Qantas ally

Emirates president Tim Clark has delivered a ringing endorsement of the leadership and decisions of Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce in a wide-ranging interview with a select group of Australian aviation media in Dubai.

According to Clark Qantas would have gone bankrupt if Joyce had not acted as he did taking on the unions to make the changes required.
