Solomons Airlines has taken delivery of a Dash 8-100 aircraft for use on its domestic network.
The aircraft is being ferried from Athens, where it previously operated around the Greek islands, to Honiara in a trip that is expected to take between five and seven days. The introduction of the Dash 8 will play an important role in the up-skilling of Solomon Islanders as the airline implements a new strategy to expand its operations and improves its operating systems.
