Phantom Media seeks an advertising sales executive

Phantom Media, the publisher of Australia Aviation and Australian Defence Business Review, Australia’s leading aerospace and defence magazines, is seeking an advertising sales manager.

The successful candidate will:
Build and develop relationships across an existing client base, ranging from multinational corporations to agencies to small businesses;
Develop new business opportunities;
Cross-sell across complementary titles and print and electronic mediums, ranging from print magazines to trade show daily publications to websites to iPad app publications;
Develop and implement a strategic advertising business plan;
Be Canberra based;
Work as part of a small, dynamic team;
Work to deadlines but with great autonomy;
Have a demonstrated ability to develop relationships built on trust;
Have a strong work ethic and a sense of fun;
Have a high standard of written and verbal communication and negotiation skills;
Represent our company with professionalism;
Have a love of magazines and electronic media.
