Qantas eyes Chinese riches with Jetstar Hong Kong

The bold move by Qantas to set up Jetstar Hong Kong possibly raises more questions and eyebrows than the so far failed foray into Malaysian airspace.

Whereas getting into bed with oneworld partner Japan Airlines has the blessing of the Japanese government and appears to be a no brainer the tie up with China Eastern Airlines to base an airline in Hong Kong is quite another story.
