written by australianaviation.com.au | December 5, 2011
Indonesia has purchased five Bell 412 helicopters, seen here in use by Australian Customs.

Bell Helicopters has received five firm orders  and two potential follow-on orders for its 412EP twin engine aircraft from PT Dirgantara Indonesia.

The helicopters will be delivered to Indonesian government agencies and are expected to arrive by the end of the year, Bell said.

Bell announced a series of upgrades in 2010 to the evergreen 412 that include glass cockpit displays and electronic engine control to boost power.
