Aerial Ag – Ready? Set? ….

Across Australia aerial application companies are preparing for another busy season. Deep maintenance has been completed, pilots and aircraft are being lined up and companies are starting their marketing. Work in some areas is already picking up.

But rebuilding from a long drought can take several seasons and a number of issues are emerging that remain a challenge for aerial applicators.

Airstrips, ignored for many years due to a lack of use, are likely to be reintroduced to service. In many places where there has been no cropping for over five years, airstrips may require a lot of TLC to get them back to a useable – and safe – standard.
