Fair airport access and pricing

The Productivity Commission’s massive 412 page Economic Regulation of Airport Services draft report found current price monitoring more effective than previous capping, and rated our airports favourably or better than those overseas.

But not all airport users agreed with that optimistic assessment, and the thorny issue of regional price capping at Sydney was outside its terms.
