Learning the Lessons of Drought

‘Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it’ – and in a seasonal industry the temptation to relax after years of gruelling drought should not be allowed to become a permanent, complacent state.

Sometime in the next 10 years there will likely be another drought. The lessons to be learned and changes to be made that were promised during the drought need to be remembered in the good times when we are best placed to do something about them.
