The first of these, at Eglin AFB in Florida, is in the process of populating its training ranks in preparation for the arrival of the first F-35 aircraft there in early 2011, and the commencement of US training soon after. It is currently planned that all three US services and the seven international partner nations will send their initial instructors to Eglin until additional training facilities are established elsewhere in the US or in their partners’ home countries.
