written by australianaviation.com.au | June 22, 2010

Embraer will expand its Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) in Singapore as part of a wider increase in support for its commercial and executive jet operators in the Asia Pacific region.

“Customer support is not only a priority at Embraer, but a significant aspect of the growth of our organisation across business lines,” said Alex Glock, managing director of Embraer Asia Pacific. “The enhancements to our customer support activities are part of our commitment to provide the best service available to our customers, and contribute to the conduct of their business.”

The enlarged RDC will provide round-the-clock spare parts, maintenance, repair and inventory services for Asia Pacific, including a greater inventory of spare parts for its business jet range which were previously based in Paris. The RDC will also enhance its customer support activities for its executive jet operators, in addition to its support activities for commercial operators.
