New local head for BA

British Airways has announced the appointment of Nicole Backo as its new Sydney based regional commercial manager in charge of South-West Pacific operations. Backo succeeds Sam Heine, who is taking on the role of manager of strategic supplier partnerships at HRG Australia, a BA industry partner. She is now responsible for British Airways’s operations in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and the South Pacific Islands.
