V Australia wins IFE and business class awards

V Australia has won awards for its inflight entertainment systems and business class product in two separate consumer surveys.

The airline’s Red IFE system won the prestigious ‘Best Overall’ award in the small airline category at the World Airline Entertainment Association’s Avion Awards, which are voted on by over 60,000 passengers worldwide. The carrier was also voted as ‘Best Business Class’ in the e-Travel Blackboard 2009 Readers Choice Awards, which also saw Virgin Blue take the ‘Best Domestic Airline’ award.
