AirAsia has announced that it will defer delivery on a further eight Airbus A320s which were due for delivery in 2011. AirAsia announced in June that it was delaying eight A320s due for delivery in 2010, blaming airport access issues at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The carrier has not released details about why it has chosen to defer the eight aircraft due for delivery in 2011, but it may be due to difficulty in securing financing for them.
