Annual proficiency checks

With the introduction of Part 137 for fixed wing aerial application, all application pilots are required to successfully complete an annual proficiency check (APC) before commencing application operations.

This new requirement has already caused confusion because of the lack of guidance material from CASA to explain what is required, but AAAA has produced an annual proficiency check (APC) checklist and guide that will help. The checklist has been emailed to all members and is available from the AAAA members-only website.
