Alliance Airlines spreads its wings

Australia’s relentless resources boom is generating rapid growth for Brisbane based charter operator Alliance Airlines, which also is strengthening its relationship with Qantas regional arm QantasLink.

The company, which was established six years ago from the wreckage of the Ansett group to provide commercial charter services in Queensland, now has a fleet of 16 Fokker 100 twin jets and Fokker 50 turboprops and expects to expand the jet fleet next year.
