Pyrmont Heliport Scrapped

The newly elected NSW State government has fulfilled its election promise to ditch plans to build the long awaited Pyrmont heliport, withdrawing planning and beginning a search for an alternative site. Production Launch For MD 600N

McDonnell Douglas has approved full scale development and production of the seven/eight place MD 600N helicopter. The MD 600N was first publicly revealed as the MD 630N late last year, and is a stretched development of the MD 520N. McDonnell Douglas Helicopters intends it to be the first member of a family of MD 600 developments, details of which have not been released.
