He calls Dimtrie for the latest exchange rate, stabs some more buttons, frowns again and announces, “ten million, four hundred thousand roubles-about two suitcases full. ” While I always wanted to be a millionaire and am tempted to change my greenbacks into roubles, I have come well prepared, and peel off thirty crisp $100 bills from the wad I smuggled past the exchange station at Domodedovo on the way in. “Half now, the rest when I get down safely,” I offer, plus we get over Mach 2, OK?” “Da”, says Igor, palming the block of notes. “We go now. ” Most of that is fantasy, especially the part where I have $6000 in green to spend on an hour’s flying. (Some of it is real-I have been to Moscow and flew to Kazakhstan on an II-86. That was interesting, but a story for another time. ) However, I can afford to spend $A70 on a MiG-29 simulator, and from the comparisons I can make with reference books, it seems like money well spent to get a taste of how capable is the creme de lat creme of the “opposition” fighter aircraft.

But has other aggravations. If you have the money, replace your hard drive with a larger one – a 340MB drive with 12Ms access time costs under $600 which is very good value for money. If you still have RAM space prob- lems, try QEMM 7. 03 memory manager it works very effectively. Not only is it better at finding spare memory, but it is easier to use than Microsoft’s Memmaker Utility. My system has several drivers installed, yet QEMM 7. 03 still manages to create 632K of free RAM.
