Four new Aviat Husky A-1 light planes are bound for Kenya to join the fight against illegal ivory poaching. The four new aircraft will join three already operated by the Kenya Wildlife Service the Huskies being used in aerial surveillance of elephant herds. The Husky's good tow and slow flying characteristics, plus the high mounted wing, make it a well-suited observation aircraft.

Citation Special Olympics air lift:
For the third time, Cessna will stage a massive airlift by Citation bizjets which will carry more than 1000 athletes and coaches to the 1995 International Special Olympic Games for disabled people to be held at Yale University, Connecticut.
The first Special Olympics Airlift in 1987 involved more than 130 Citations which carried nearly 1000 athletes to the games in South Bend, Indiana, while the 1991 event at St Paul, Minnesota, involved 200 aircraft and 1500 passengers. On that occasion the jets flew into St Paul from 30 cities in 23 states, arriving at Holman Field every 2-3 minutes during an eight hour period.
