 Paris Surprises and Delights:

Le Bourget in mid June was the scene for some spectacular sights and surprises in the air transport industry.

Russia presented the BRAVIA Rolls-Royce RB211-535 powered Tu-204 in its Paris debut, while the I-96M and hitherto unknown Beriev Be-32 twin turboprop feederliner made their first appearances. The Yak-142, a 120 seat derivative of the Yak-42, also made an appearance at Le Bourget as part of the CIS contingency.
