Interview – Frank Ball
The past few months have witnessed major changes to our domestic airline structure. With the introduction of TAA’s Airbus and Ansett’s 737 the battle lines have been firmly drawn. Both airlines are heading in entirely different equipment directions while policy decisions affecting the operation of current turboprop aircraft will ultimately have considerable effect upon the -larger, better-organised third-level operators. To ascertain where TAA stands in this refreshingly new environment of Australian domestic aviation, John Spies interviewed TAA General Manager Frank Ball.
