Wright appointed head of commercial for AAX

AirAsia X has announced that its general manager Australia, Darren Wright, has been appointed to the position of head of commercial as the airline prepares for an initial public offering in 2011.

Wright has been with the carrier since 2007, and prior to that worked at Virgin Blue and at Flight Centre.
