QantasLink has announced that it is adding capacity from Melbourne to Mildura, Launceston and Devonport from February 1 as a result of the delivery of its 17th Bombardier Q400, which will be based in Melbourne.
The new aircraft will see the airline add an additional weekly service to Devonport, while 13 of 26 return services will be operated by the 74-seat Q400, adding 484 additional seats each week. QantasLink will also add three additional Melbourne-Launceston services. Lastly, 13 return services on the Melbourne-Mildura run will be operated by Q400s, adding 224 seats to the route each week.
