Jetstar had another month to forget after it was named the worst airline for delays in October and the second worst for cancellations.

Qantas has completed a remarkable comeback to go from being the worst airline in the country for cancellations to being the best. It was also top for avoiding delays.

The training program will see a new intake of pilots will this week undergo the final stages of their training to fly the fifth-gen fighter at RAAF Base Amberley and Rockhampton.

The team also used data from weather radars and satellites to narrow the search down to a six-kilometre “likely fall zone” north of Port Augusta.

The aircraft, VH-OQA, was stored in the Victorville desert boneyard during the pandemic before flying to LAX in September, and now joins VH-OQG in receiving a cabin upgrade in the UAE.

It comes after the Flying Kangaroo moved to outsource ground handling operations at the 10 Australian airports where it was still running them in-house, including Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne.
