Hawker Beechcraft has announced that the European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA) has granted type certification to the Hawker 800XPR, and that customer deliveries of the aircraft have commenced. The EASA certification of the XPR upgrade follows that of the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in August. The upgrade comprises the incorporation of new Honeywell TFE731-50R

Avianca has become the first Latin American customer for the Airbus A330 Freighter, signing a firm order for four, to be operated by its cargo subsidiary Tampa.

Russia’s UTair Aviation has signed a firm order for 40 Boeing 737s, comprising seven 737-900s and 33 737-800s, confirming a deal announced at the Paris Airshow in June. Boeing says the aircraft are worth US$3.8 billion at list prices.

Cirrus has celebrated the delivery of its 5000th aircraft since production of its piston single engine light aircraft line began in 1999.
