The business revealed passenger traffic was just 1,937,000 – down 17.5 per cent compared to the same month in 2019.  

The deal with the low-cost carrier means more than 250 new flights are available for booking across 21 routes, including Mumbai and Goa.

It comes despite new Defence Minister Richard Marles raising doubts about the deal last year and stating it would be subject to a review process.
