Passengers from Adelaide can expect more opportunities and flexibility in their travel plans, with Singapore Airlines offering an additional 1300 seats across flights in and out of South Australia.
The boost is expected to support global connectivity between Australia and Europe, with Singapore acting as one of the primary stopover destinations for Australians making their way across the globe.

This capacity increase will also support Southeast Asian economic development, trade, and tourism.
Singapore remains a major travel destination for South Australians, being the seventh largest location in regards to visitor expenditure.
Currently, Singapore Airlines operates ten flights a week between Adelaide Airport and Singapore’s Changi Airport, with an additional two flights a week starting in October.
Adelaide Airport Managing Director Brenton Cox emphasises the value of increased services, noting that it is the first time an international airline is flying a dozen times a week directly out of Adelaide.
“Singapore Airlines has been an incredible supporter of the Adelaide market for more than four decades and was a ground breaker in providing South Australians with one-stop connections to Europe and the UK,” he said.
“Now they offer more options than ever before to fly to Singapore and connect with their significant global network.
“It’s also significant for our local exporters who rely on Singapore Airlines’ regular services to reach key markets.”
Singapore Airlines Regional Vice President (South West Pacific), Foo Chai Woo, says that the over forty year history between South Australia and Singapore Airlines is representative of the strong connection and necessity for the increased options for travellers in and out of the two regions.
“Building on our legacy of strongly supporting the South Australian Market, and with robust travel demand into and out of Adelaide, we’re happy to offer our customers even more choice and more capacity with 12 weekly services from December 2026,” Woo said.
By allowing over 1300 more people every week to directly fly into Adelaide, the state’s Tourism Minister, Emily Bourke, says that this demonstrates the growing demand and appeal to visit South Australia.
“More seats mean more opportunities to attract international visitors, support local tourism and showcase everything South Australia has to offer to travellers from across Asia and the world.”
