Flying The Aerochute Dual Powered Parachute
Ever wondered what a powered parachute is like to fly? Could for instance a private pilot easily convert across to one of these new low cost flying machines? Australian Aviation went for a test flight and found the craft to be not only a lot of fun but also to have enormous potential for a wide variety of practical applications.
If ever there was a contest to name an aircraft that was sheer fun to fly then the Aerochute Dual powered parachute would have to be at the top of the list. My introduction to powered parachutes was to take a test flight in a locally made machine, the Aerochute Dual, manufactured in suburban Melbourne.
