Trevor Kennedy, the former chief executive of the Packer media empire, has been appointed to the Qantas board. One position on the board now remains to be filled. Other movements at Qantas include the resignation of Wayne Tregaskis and the appointments of Judy Watkins as Regional General Manager ACT, John Anderson as Regional General Manager NSW, and Allan Williams as Regional General Manager Tasmania.

Ansett’s new manager of loyalty programmes, including Golden Wing and Frequent Flyer, is Tony Bracy, following the resignation of Peter Kelly.
