A320 stars in Qantas Group’s narrowbody future

Qantas has mapped out its future aircraft fleet with its recent order for up to 188 narrowbody aircraft for Qantas mainline and Jetstar.
The November 14 announcement that the Qantas Group would acquire up to 188 Airbus A320s and A321s and Boeing 737-800s means the Group now has outstanding orders and commitments (including options) for over 350 aircraft from 24 A380s to 115 787s, three A330-200s, the 188 A320s/A321s/737s, and 38 Dash 8 Q400s. And still in prospect is an order for 787-10s or A350-1000s to allow for the retirement of 747-400s.
