787 May Not Fly This Year
Reports From Seattle During July Claim That the Fix for the Wing Join Issue Which Has Delayed the First Flight of the 787 is More Complex Than Boeing Has Revealed, and Could Mean the Dreamliner’s First Flight May Not Take Place Until Next Year.
According to a Report by the Seattle Times, Boeing Engineers Working on the Issue Said That It Would Take at Least Three to Four Months to Be Fixed on One Aircraft, Let Alone the Five Set to Take Part in the Flight Test Program.
