Nurturing a more diverse workforce

With women holding only around 5 per cent of aviation positions worldwide, the sector has a long way to go to increase female representation – but companies such as Leidos are proving to be real success stories, with Leidos recently celebrating a milestone of 20 per cent female employees. Kristen Raby of Aviation/Aerospace Australia and Jesse Young of Leidos spoke to Australian Aviation on how it was done – and how Leidos is reaping the rewards.
