Australian company Visionary Machines has signed a formal agreement with Singaporean defence and aerospace distributor IMREX at Singapore Airshow 2026.
The new agreement seeks to collaborate on counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) technology and marks Visionary Machines’ first milestone in establishing in-country sales of its Pandion Sentinel C-UAS system, addressing regional security and strategies in the Asia-Pacific area.

IMREX’s proven expertise in defence distribution in the region is expected to see the collaboration and rollout of the Pandion Sentinel system be successful, said Sonny Foster, chief executive at Visionary Machines.
“Appointing IMREX in Singapore is a pivotal milestone in our Asia–Pacific strategy,” he said.
“Their track record with leading global primes and deep customer relationships will accelerate delivery of our counter‑drone capability to Singapore’s defence and security community.”
According to Visionary Machines, the Pandion System offers multi-domain detection, tracking, and classification for land, air, and sea domains. It has no detectable emissions and can integrate seamlessly with third-party command and control systems.
“Pandion Sentinel’s unique counter drone situational awareness sensing is an important addition to our portfolio and highly relevant to customers confronting increasingly sophisticated small Group 1 and Group 2 drone threats,” said president of IMREX, Spencer Ong.
The growing threat of drone warfare has in turn seen a major rise in the need for C-UAS. Visionary Machines said as opposition forces continued to use advanced measures to deter drone detection, systems such as Pandion Sentinel were becoming increasingly relevant and sought after.
“Visionary Machines will continue to expand its representative network to meet customer needs while maintaining our lean, scalable commercial footprint,” said the company’s chief operating officer, Nick Gibbs.
