New hydrogen-electric VTOL scores $5.43m government grant
The green aviation company will use the grant from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) to develop hydrogen fuel cell technology, enabling Vertiia to reach a range of up to 1,000km for applications such as emergency services as well as passenger and cargo transport.

/Starting on 27 October 2024, Sydney will see an additional daily 777-300ER flight at 6:45am, while Adelaide will have a new 787-10 service on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, taking its SIA services to 10 per week. Both will be available for the six-month northern winter period.
