The miracle crash survivor, bushfire fighter, scourge of authority and ‘founding father’ of Rex died on Easter Sunday aged 95.

The ATSB has launched an investigation into the incident that significantly occurred at 12:17 am on Wednesday morning when the air traffic control tower was closed.
