From a kitchen in Kazakhstan to presenting at one of Australia’s largest aviation conferences, Tim Jordan has already made it known that he’s a serious player that is not to be underestimated. Here, Hannah Dowling explores the case for Bonza
Standing among a sea of navy blazers, pressed white shirts, matching skirtsuits, and perfectly straight ties, is Tim Jordan. Unlike his peers, the Brit dons a black short-sleeve polo shirt, emblazoned with a striking purple logo that would have been unrecognisable not three months earlier. Just weeks after lifting the lid on Bonza – a start-up Australian budget carrier of his own creation – Jordan was now eagerly awaiting his first keynote speech at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, as Australia’s newest airline chief executive.
