says:The only reason Alliance does flying for Virgin is because the moronic former management basically parked most of the regional aircraft it acquired via the SkyWest purchase then surprise, surprise, realised it couldn’t operate some of its services so it engaged Alliance to do so.
That was after Qantas acquired the 19.9% stake I believe.
And yes, Virgin left the aircraft parked while still paying the exorbitant lease costs.
The actions of VA prior to this and leading up to it are in the realm of you couldn’t make this stuff up.
