As the aviation industry recovers from the pandemic, MRO services are jumping back on their feet to ensure the safety of aircraft in returning to the skies. Since the crisis – that we are still in the midst of – a shift in focus has emerged, highlighting the aviation sector is in need of more digital operations to survive. Artificial intelligence and robotics are not simply the future anymore when it comes to MRO services. The market is forecasted to register a CAGR of over 20 per cent between 2021 and 2026, projected to grow over US$5 million by next year, according to Allied Market Research. Industry leaders have touted in the post-pandemic world companies need to think digitally, especially as aviation businesses desire operations to be not only efficient, but cheap.
