How Long Is Too Long To Be In A Career Stall?
As aviation enters another COVID slumber, Kirsty Ferguson advises aviation professionals to consider what comes next in their careers – now, to take advantage of the reopening
I HAVE had the privilege of working with a couple of Olympians as they transitioned from their elite sporting careers to their “What’s next?” As we watched in awe, the Aussie Olympics team smashed it. One cannot help but be inspired by the obvious lessons these focused professionals show us each time they step onto the pool deck, the track or the playing field.
It made me think, in our industry, aviation, what can we take from watching these athletes? How does the Olympian ethic or mindset apply to currently strained businesses and careers?
