Founded in 2000, Corporate Aircraft Charter is a largely diversified air charter company, with operations that span across the business aviation sector. Its operations include private, FIFO, and aeromedical flight services, with contracts that cater to government agencies, tourism providers and the oil and gas sectors. To learn more about the company, Australian Aviation sat down with Corporate Aircraft Charter’s managing director Chris Anglberger, to discuss the company’s current operations, future expansion plans, and the unavoidable impact of COVID-19

Thanks for speaking with us today, Chris! To get us rolling, can you tell me a little about Corporate Aircraft Charter’s operations, and what it is that makes your business unique?

Corporate Aircraft Charter’s head office is based in Adelaide and we also have bases in Brisbane, Queensland and Karratha, Western Australia. From Adelaide, we operate a fleet of five King Air B-200s, which predominantly cater to fly-in fly-out workers in the local and regional resources sector. We also perform flying operations for the thoroughbred racing industry and hold a number of contracts with both state and federal governments. We have begun some tourism operations out of Adelaide, which is something we intend to focus on more-so in the near future. We also operate an FBO out of our hub in Adelaide, however operations have been impacted by COVID, with borders being shut, interstate travel in the private sector has decreased quite significantly, though that is looking to improve now with easing restrictions going forward.
