In this issue we report the delivery of a 787-9 to Qantas and the disposal of a 747-400 by Qantas.

After handover to Qantas in Seattle 787-9 VH-ZNI msn 66073 Kookaburra was ferried from Everett to Los Angeles as QF6027 on October 15 and then from Los Angeles to New York on October 18. 787-9 VH-ZNI then departed New York as QF7879 on a direct flight to Sydney where it arrived on October 20 after a flight time of 19 hours and 16 minutes. On October 20 VH-ZNI ferried from Sydney to Melbourne as QF6027 before entering service with Qantas on October 25 when it operated QF95 from Melbourne to Los Angeles.
