Crews in demand
Our life-savers head to the northern hot zone
The mustering season is in full swing in the north. In the south, many firefighting airframes are receiving their annual maintenance.
Some Australian crews continue to apply their life-saving skills throughout the northern hemisphere summer. This summer is proving to be particularly hot and the crews and engineers will again be in high demand. It demonstrates how international and mobile the rotary industry has become and how the Australian industry is a leading player. To reinforce this point, Captain Jan Becker from Queensland has been appointed the President of the Helicopter Association International. She is the first Australian to hold this prestigious position.
