Accuracy the key to a perfect record

The most important book in a pilot’s library is the logbook. Most books can be replaced, but not the logbook which contains unique details of a pilot’s flight history.

When a pilot starts flying, he or she should purchase and fill out that logbook. Over a long period I have seen many logbooks. When I open the first few pages it is easy to spot that a student had a grade three instructor. How? Because the first few pages of entries do not record where a flight originated.
