Back To Basics
Never underestimate the value of currency
For so many pilots, a local flight on a sunny day is one of life’s pleasures. And yet, even though such a flight may be perceived as “simple”, the principles of thorough planning and preparation are still valid. This is additionally critical when a significant period of time has lapsed since the last relevant flight. For just as time away from the flightline can leave a pilot out of touch, having flown a Boeing the day before doesn’t necessarily equip a pilot to fly a Cessna the next.
