There appears to be no safety case or risk analysis conducted by CASA that examines the potential impact, within the existing Australian legal and legislative framework, of a CASA directive to adopt and implement FAA Part 43 maintenance rules for private flying and aerial work.

There is also no evidence provided that demonstrates there will be any increase in safety.
