Seatback camera exposure goes viral
Look closely at the inflight entertainment screen in front of you: is there a small camera staring back? On new IFE systems aboard Singapore and a few other airlines, there is, and a passenger recently went viral by posting pictures of the camera online.
Many passengers won’t be aware that many cabins are already monitored by closed-circuit television cameras, particularly above the doored suite products that would otherwise be out of sight of the cabin crew.
