Fresh signs of optimism for regional aviation

While there are no corks popping just yet, recent indications of green shoots in Australia’s regional aviation sector has given some cause for optimism.

The latest profit results from Regional Express (Rex) and Alliance Aviation Services, along with the introduction of new routes from both large and small operators, shows a sector looking at growth rather than survival and is certainly a welcome change from the struggles experienced by many earlier this decade.
